Pair French Opaline Vases Circa 1835
$830.00Pair of vases with beautifully hand painted flowers on opaline glass. We see a bouquet of pink, purple, orange, lilac, yellow, and white flowers, all naturalistically rendered. The roses, daisies, and morning glory are marvelous! The leaves are painted in several shades of green. Made in the Louis-Philippe period of the 19th century, circa 1835. The artist used colored enamels to create this work of art.
Dimensions: Height 11.75″ x 6″ diameter at widest point x 6″ diameter across the top
Condition: Excellent with very slight rubbing to the gilt on the top edge

We are pleased to offer this opaline vase with beautiful hand painted flowers. The glass is hand blown, without seams, and is slightly translucent. The vase is decorated all around with beautiful roses, morning glory, lilies, and other flowers on the stem.
The vase is at its most beautiful when placed before the sun or an electric light.Dimensions: 12″ tall x 4.5″ diameter
