A large mochaware mug made in England circa 1820
It is decorated with a pattern of white slip dots over two wide bands of milk chocolate-colored slip.
Above and below each of the wide bands are thin bands of medium blue outlined by thinner bands of black.
Along the top edge is green glazed rouletting.
Altogether this is an exquisite piece.
