A charming English country style small tureen. Painted with orange blossoms on a beautiful soft green ground. One of the charming and distinctive features of Ridgway earthenware is the raised decoration. On this tureen the decoration is raised raspberries and raspberry leaves which we see here on the handles of the tureen and the stand. Made circa 1830.
