We are pleased to offer this rare pair of English porcelain tureens painted with a striking chinoiserie decoration. They were made by Copeland Spode circa 1840. The decoration on these tureens is a combination of medallions, flowers and auspicious objects. The unexpected colors in the pattern are orange, brown, and green. Together they create an exotic look. The inside of the tureen also painted with a medallion for a lovely extra touch.
These tureens would look great on any sideboard or rectangular table.
