Collection of Blue and White Dutch Delft Vases
A beautiful group of 18th-century blue and white hand-painted Dutch Delft vases for your home. At the back of the group is a beautiful pair of tall gourd-shaped vases in the “Mille Fleurs” pattern, dating to circa 1760.
In front of that is a smaller pair of octagonal Dutch Delft blue and white hand-painted vases dating to circa 1780. It features deep cobalt blue coloring (this pair has some minor invisible restoration).
The final piece in the group is a Dutch Delft blue and white mantle vase and cover made circa 1750 by “The Axe” (with the factory mark on the underside). This vase is in the collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, cat # 1921-3-3,4,7,14.
