Colorful Derby Porcelain Dish Made in England, circa 1810
An English hand-painted porcelain dish made by Derby in the early 19th century, circa 1810. The dish has a dramatic combination of floral and geometric design featuring lavish gilding and red-berried hops, and blue cornflowers in alternating panels. On the reverse of the dish is the Derby crown mark in iron-red used in the factory from 1800-1825.
