An 18th-century First Period Worcester porcelain tureen, oval in shape, with gilt line decoration. The elegant handles and finial are in the form of oak branches ending in gilded leaf terminals with gilded acorns.
Made in England, circa 1770, the porcelains of the Worcester factory were considered among the best porcelains made in Europe.
