A Staffordshire Saucer dish made in England, circa 1830. Mario loved flowers, and he loved well-painted flowers on porcelain. This saucer dish is hand painted with delightful pink peonies bursting with energy. They have blue leaves in two shades and pink buds which have green leaves. The flowers are enlivened by lovely gilding.
