This pair of elegant oval-shaped Paris Porcelain pierced baskets (corbeilles) was made during the reign of Louis Philippe, circa 1840. These large baskets are decorated with grape leaves on the vine in lavish gilding on a peach background. The Neoclassical style is timeless, and the latticework of the baskets lends delicacy and light to the design.
An elegant pair, they stand 10.25″ tall x 13.5″ long on rectangular bases. This pair would enhance any dining room table or sideboard.
