Staffordshire Shell Shaped Dish

From the Collection of Mario Buatta
We purchased this blue and white dish from from the estate of Mario Buatta. Mario loved blue and white. I think he must have been intrigued by the intricate and beautiful pattern on this dish.

Made in England circa 1820 this shell shaped dish would have been a serving piece. Today it could be placed on a coffee table on display or filled with small candies.

Dimensions: 8″ wide x 8.5″ long x 1.5″ height

Condition: Very good, with very slight toning visible on the back of the dish.
