Twelve Plus One ’13’ Wedgwood Lily Pattern Plates Made in England Circa 1882
This set of Wedgwood “Lily” pattern dessert and/or salad plates are bursting with energy. The white water lilies and their foliage sweep over the center and onto the border. They work beautifully with a background of concentric circles in the center and a blue-green paisley-style design along the border. The pattern is a true work of art that recalls the best flower painting on English porcelains of the 18th and early 19th centuries.
The plates are marked on the reverse with “Lily” and impressed with “Wedgwood” and “SSK” (the SSK mark indicates the year 1882).
