Made circa 1825, this English porcelain cachepot, or jardinière, retains its matching stand and combines an exceptionally well-painted bouquet of finely observed flowers with a fresh apple-green ground and rich gilding.
The flowers include a pink rose, a purple tulip, and other richly colored blossoms in orange, white, and lilac, all painted with fine detail and careful shading.
The bouquet is set within a gilt-framed white reserve against the beautiful apple-green ground. Broad gilt bands around the upper rim and stepped base enrich the form, while small gilt handles complete the design.
The exquisite flower painting, fresh apple-green ground, and generous gilding give the cachepot a strong decorative presence.

Condition: Excellent, with very slight rubbing to the upper gilt band where the pot fits into the base (see image).
